These terms govern use of alexis-fiverr.com and alexiscottray.com, operated by Alexis Cottray, an independent freelance service provider. Both websites present my services, work and resources and may allow you to arrange a call. All paid orders and payments for my services take place through Fiverr.

Service provider and contact

For enquiries, contact Alexis Cottray on Fiverr. These are my independent websites. They are not operated by Fiverr. References to Fiverr and its trademarks identify the platform through which my services are ordered; they do not imply that Fiverr owns or operates these websites.

Website information and Fiverr orders

Browsing the websites, submitting an enquiry or reserving an appointment does not create a paid service order. The service description, scope, deliverables, price, revisions and delivery schedule must be confirmed in the relevant Fiverr listing or Custom Offer before purchase.

Website descriptions and starting prices are informational and may change. Review the Fiverr offer and checkout details, including applicable fees, taxes and currency, before ordering. No additional work or paid extension is authorised solely by a website enquiry or a conversation during a call; any agreement must be recorded and ordered through Fiverr.

Fiverr orders are subject to the applicable Fiverr Terms of Service, Payment Terms and other relevant platform rules. These website terms supplement that framework and do not replace it or remove mandatory legal rights. If a website statement conflicts with the agreed Fiverr order or applicable platform rules, it must not be relied on to bypass those rules. Mandatory law takes precedence.

Payments and bookings

I do not accept service payments through the Shopify checkout on these websites. All payments for consultations, projects, additional work or ongoing services must be made through Fiverr. A scheduling tool must not be used to collect payment outside Fiverr.

A call reservation is subject to availability and any confirmation provided. Whether a consultation is free or paid will be made clear before you commit. A paid consultation requires the corresponding Fiverr order and payment. Request booking changes through Fiverr; any applicable cancellation or rescheduling conditions must be included in the Fiverr offer before purchase and remain subject to mandatory law.

For Fiverr projects, communications, requirements, approvals, files and delivery records must remain within Fiverr as required by its rules. Calls or external tools may be used only to the extent the applicable Fiverr rules allow, and any resulting project decisions must be recorded on Fiverr. A website booking is not permission to move a Fiverr relationship or transaction outside the platform.

Scope and cooperation

I will perform the agreed services with reasonable professional care and skill. You must provide accurate instructions, timely feedback and the materials and authorised access needed for the work. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to supply your content and instructions.

Changes to the scope, additional revisions, ongoing maintenance or services not included in the order require a further agreement through Fiverr. Delays caused by missing materials or feedback may require a delivery extension using Fiverr's process; a deadline does not change automatically. Delivery, acceptance and revision periods follow the applicable Fiverr order and platform rules.

Advice, audits, design and creative work do not guarantee a particular sales volume, conversion rate, ranking, audience size or financial outcome. Outcomes depend on factors beyond the agreed work. This does not reduce my obligation to provide the service described in the order.

Intellectual property and confidentiality

Rights in paid deliverables are governed by Fiverr's ownership rules and any permitted terms expressly included in the listing or Custom Offer before purchase. Applicable payment and delivery conditions must be satisfied. Third-party assets, fonts, software, themes and other licensed materials remain subject to their own licences. Any relevant restrictions must be disclosed in the order; these website terms do not silently reserve rights promised to you on Fiverr.

Website text, designs and portfolio content belong to their respective rights holders. Viewing them does not grant permission to resell, republish or commercially reuse them. Any use of client work in my portfolio must respect the applicable permissions, confidentiality commitments and Fiverr rules.

I will protect confidential client information and use it for the agreed service, subject to any disclosure required by law. Confidential materials will not be published without the appropriate permission. Any additional confidentiality agreement must be compatible with the Fiverr order and platform rules.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, revisions, partial refunds and reimbursements are handled through Fiverr under its applicable rules and the relevant order. See the Return and Refund Policy. A service complaint should first be raised in the Fiverr order conversation and, where appropriate, through Fiverr's Resolution Center or Customer Support. These steps do not remove your statutory remedies.

Privacy and acceptable use

The Privacy Policy explains website analytics, enquiry and booking information, providers and your rights. Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to optional cookies.

You must not misuse the websites, submit unlawful or infringing content, impersonate another person, send malicious files, attempt unauthorised access or disrupt their operation. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address misuse, without cancelling an existing Fiverr order outside the platform's procedures.

Third parties and responsibility

Shopify, Fiverr and other linked or embedded services operate under their own terms. I do not control their availability or independent decisions. I remain responsible for my own services and obligations. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, personal injury or mandatory consumer protections. No blanket liability waiver or automatic compensation cap is imposed by these website terms.

Applicable law and complaints

These website terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of habitual residence. Competent courts are determined by applicable law. Fiverr's terms separately govern disputes involving its platform; its own arbitration or jurisdiction provisions are not adopted here as a separate agreement between you and me.

To raise a complaint, contact me on Fiverr. Where legally applicable, consumers may also use a consumer mediation process after making a prior complaint, without losing access to the courts. Fiverr's support process does not replace any statutory right to mediation.

Changes

Updated website terms apply from the published date to future website use. They do not retrospectively alter an existing Fiverr order. Any change to an order must follow the agreed Fiverr process and applicable law.
